A little about me
Who is Babacar Faye?
Hello!
My name is Babacar and I'm running to become the first President of the UOSU. In my last 3 years, I've grown to adopt the uOttawa community as my own. Having spent, my first year living a hermit lifestyle, my second year of university was an eye-opening experience. I had the opportunity of being a guide during 101 week, VP external at Amnesty International uOttawa and being a member of IPPSSA's public Administration Committee. At the beginning of the year, I was Head Safety Ambassador of UOSU's 101 week. These experiences have launched me into student politics.
Recently, we've seen the birth of a new union, with renewed hipe to bring back trust and student engagement on our campus. Sitting on the BOD has allowed me to contribute to this effort and I'd like to make a greater contribution as President of the UOSU. Read my platform to learn more!
